JCI Update: Indigents benefit from Navforwem social services activities in Baliwasan

Zamboanga Today Online, the most read newspaper in Zamboanga City | Indigents benefit from Navforwem social services activities in Baliwasan: "Some two thousand indigents, mostly women, older people and children, benefitted from the civic-action mission of the Naval Forces Western Mindanao (Navforwem) yesterday held at the HMIJ, Philippine Islamic College in Baliwasan, this city.

Lt. Col. Gamal Hayudini, commander of the Armed Forces of the Philippines 4th Civil Relations Group (4th CRG), said that the Navy's civic-action partnered with DOH, DSWD, PCSO, JCI, NGOs and POs during the conduct of social services.

'Aside from supplemental Feeding Program to children that was conducted, the teams of Navforwem, civil military personnel and
partner organizations also provided relief assistance, free dental and other medical services,' Hayudini told reporters.

Commodore Armando Guzman, commander of Navforwem, and his deputy personally distributed the relief assistance to the indigents. He said that the civic-action mission will continue to other places to reach out people in need of help."
