Watching the clips of Hollywood actresses Hayden Panetierre and Isabel Lucas on CNN about their crusade to stop the people in Taiji, Japan from capturing dolphins and turning them to entertainers, or to meals for children. This became Saño’s wake-up call.
“I’ve been studying dolphins for 11 years. Hindi ko matanggap na ganun lang ‘yung pagpatay sa kanila. Tapos nakita ko ‘yung connection sa mga marine parks, mga dolphin shows sa iba’t ibang parte sa Pilipinas,” he says."
