Resurrection Mariano, and in cooperation with the Rotary Club of this city and the Youth Leadership Summit, painted 42 chairs and 20 tables of grade 2 pupils of Bulanao Central School.
Capt. Ara Waleed Alfredo Agcaoili said they conducted a series of symposia in the different schools. Topics are on leadership and environment protection. After the symposia, students were brought to reforestation areas for tree planting activities.
The latest was at the Pinukpuk Vocational School in partnership with the Kalinga-Apayao Youth Organization (KAYO) headed by Maricar Baral.
A similar forum was also conducted at the Tuga National High School here and the Tappo Vocational High School in Pinukpuk for 655 students and teachers.
After the symposia, students were brought to reforestation areas for tree planting activities.
At the Ballayangon Elementary School in Pinukpuk, military and KAYO members conducted supplemental feeding to 165 grade school pupils and circumcised 21 children.
Agcaoili said the military aims to engage the youth in protecting the environment through forums and tree planting to address climate change aside from rendering missionary service."
